Blue Sky is an expression of music. Working with the ideas of capturing moments. While I was working on it, I imagined an orchestra. The colour and brushstrokes are shots of velocity, pitches and energy. For me as a composer and artist, this is how I notate and express sound on paper. I painted it like I would mark a piece of manuscript, working with pencil to mark sound/notes and flowing through expression and evolving form
