I was lucky enough to get some footage of a set which I performed in January at the Old Police station. The work is called Obey written specially for the space. The work was live electronics and live mixing. I performed two sets Strange Beauty and Obey.
I hope you enjoy

Till all the carv’d fairies and daemons
Leer’d redly from the backgrounds of shadow.
Now redden’d my vision, and madly
I strove to peer thro’ the dense curtain

THE WOMAN WHO BREAKS MUSIC APART -POEM BY PEGGY SHUMAKER
The woman who breaks music apart
fits aural grit onto her fingertips.
Sandy, her hands play
fresh light
sifting through leaves
coiled tight--
buds/ broken/
Each
sound
attracts
the body
of breath
particles
rare and fine,
(stanza break)
pollen
voiced
by no cord,
no catgut
plucked,
no instrument known
to the human ear
until this moment
set off,
crystalline.
Stars,
arrowheads,
branches,
twins.
Moisture
sharpened
flits into the pizzicato
of morning.
(stanza break)
Snowflake,
sectored plate
hollow
column
solitary, distinct, related
in the whirl. Gathering
blue deepens
the riverbank~wild
sparks lace
our lashes~
blink
gone~
leads in dark ice,
sharp edged
breath.
Blink.
