Coming to the end of a good year . looking forward to another special one.
Yesterday Alarmed and Dangerous was performed in Canada a work I was involved in writing nearly 16 years ago.

Snow and Simulation

Met up with a very old friend today, a pianist and composer from years back. We trenched through the snow on upper street and sat down to roast pork, Purcell, micro melodies, improvisation and potatoes. The snow in London is quite intense and although I love it, I think my new boots and wet toes would now rather do with out it.
This few weeks have been very good though we have been through a lot of changes in Higher Ed. I became a Fellow of HEA this week , compositionally I've been working on some really interesting commercial sound projects one of which was to write App sounds for the internal system of a luxury car.Thus my research into Micro sound and phonetic audio design was utilised perfectly. Finishing my last work for new release this week and music looking forward; a live performance of Strange Beauty in the Old Police Station. 22nd of January.
Term is nearly over, but research has just begun again. Paper and new work to finish by the end of January.
